Providing a support service to the parish villages Bamford, Thornhill, Shatton, and Yorkshire Bridge, collecting meds, provide a keeping in touch phone service, and limited collection of shopping where individuals have ordered but can’t get out.
A volunteer takes calls in the morning, then passes tasks to a network of other volunteers to action. People needing help should ring 01433 659317 or email helpbamford@hotmail.com between 09:00 and 12:00.
