The Energy Saving Trust has announced that the latest round of the Ofgem Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme is now open to applications from charities in England, Scotland and Wales.

The scheme supports projects that help energy consumers in vulnerable situations to reduce their bills by distributing payments from energy companies who may have breached Ofgem rules.

There are four funds open in this funding round totalling £5.75 million to enable charities to deliver a range of new and innovative energy related projects designed to tackle fuel poverty and support the transition to net zero.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on the 15 November 2021.
