Healthwatch England is running a national campaign to learn about the impact of delays on people, how they are coping while they wait and what support they think would help them better manage their health.

Healthwatch Derbyshire is supporting this campaign and wants to find out how this is affecting people in Derbyshire.

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many people having their operations, treatment and appointments delayed.  A record number of people – more than 5.45 million are waiting for NHS hospital treatment in England.

Are you one of them? If so, it’s vital you get the advice, information and support you need while you wait.

But Healthwatch know not everyone is, which is why they need you to share your experience of waiting for treatment in Derbyshire.

Everything you tell Healthwatch is confidential and will help them understand what needs to be put in place to better support people waiting for treatment like you. So, whether your experience is good or bad, they want to hear it.

Complete the short survey and remember to tick Derbyshire at the end.  Also, tell Healthwatch any additional information about your experience of waiting, they can then act on your views and suggestions for improvement and share your experience:
